Shani Jones

Director & Responsible Individual

Shani Jones is the Director and Responsible Individual for Serenity Support and Care and has dedicated her career to improving the lives of children and young people.

Beginning her career in education in 2008, Shani supported children with additional learning needs before moving into residential childcare in 2014. Since then, she has developed extensive experience supporting children and young people with complex needs, trauma, emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health challenges, autism, exploitation risks and independent living.

As Responsible Individual, Shani provides strategic leadership across Serenity's services, ensuring they consistently deliver safe, high-quality, child-centred care that meets Care Inspectorate Wales standards.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People
• QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management – Children and Young People

Shani is passionate about creating homes where children feel safe, respected and empowered to achieve their goals.
